Current Event Dominican Republic

On the date of April 22, 2010 a lady named Sandy Anderson sought to reform the Dominican Republics MLB team. She said that it was a breeding sight for alchohol and drugs. She says people have hustled and pimps have taken money as well as children while the racket is still going on during the games!
Sandy is 62 years old and she met up with the staff of the baseball team to talk about the issues that have been going on during the baseball games. Sandy was asked to be a part of a company that “exported” over 10 million people all over the world to different baseball teams.
She also discovered that people from the staff were skimming money to pay 16-year-old to sign a contract and play on the baseball team just so even more commotion can go on. Sandy met with Dominican Republic officials to discuss the issue and finally the head official stated, “The system as it currently is cannot continue.” And that was the end to the Dominican Republic MLB baseball team.
